Rebecca Warren
Head of Learning Programmes at the School of System Change
Background
Before joining the School in early 2026, Rebecca has worked in a variety of roles, both in more formal learning settings as well as non-profit international youth programmes. She went into the education sector after completing her Masters in Leadership for Sustainable Development at Forum for the Future, with a passion to equip young people to make a positive difference in their own lives as well as for our collective future. She joined Teach First and worked in a London school for many years, and then has worked for Teach for All, United World Colleges, Rise, and Tilting Futures.
At the School of System Change
Together with our amazing team, Rebecca develops and delivers our core learning programmes, and provides strategic leadership. She also works with partners to develop new or bespoke offerings that draw from the wealth of experience the School of System Change has to offer in quality systems change practices.
""The times are urgent, let us slow down." – I became aware of this proverb through the work of Bayo Akomolafe. It is counter-intuitive to the productive urgency I both internalised and perpetuated from schooling onwards, and is so emblematic of a core tension of our times. I am excited that so many people are recognising the importance of the pause and to take time to connect with self and others - and I strive to continue getting better at this!"
