Launching the Systems Change Learning Handbook

We're thrilled to launch the Systems Change Learning Handbook: a comprehensive guide to the School’s approach to systems change learning.

Online event: 28 July 2025, 15:00-16:00 BST

Join us as we launch the Systems Change Learning Handbook: a comprehensive documentation of the School’s approach to designing and delivering learning experiences, created to build capacity for a growing number of systems change learning facilitators.

Laid out over four chapters, the Systems Change Learning Handbook shares an introduction to the School and our understanding of systems, before diving into our process of programme design - by zooming out and zooming into their flow - and our approach to delivering transformational learning experiences. The final chapter brings together our resources for systems change learning.

This event will share more about the theory of transformation and purpose of the Handbook and dive into our emergent, co-writing process, as well as give you a first glimpse of the resource with time for Q&A.

You’ll hear from:

  • Saskia Rysenbry, Learning Curator, School of System Change
  • Dr Anna Birney, CEO, School of System Change
  • Rachel Taylor, narrative and editorial strategist, story experience designer, editor and writer - co-author of the Systems Change Learning Handbook
  • Katie Slee, Knowledge Manager, School of System Change
