Driving Climate Action: An Introduction to Systems Change

Join us for an unforgettable climate action workshop! Are you ready to revolutionise your approach to climate change and become a true changemaker? It's time to take action like never before.

Overview

Are you ready to revolutionise your approach to climate change and become a true changemaker? It's time to take action like never before.

In a world where the urgency of climate action clashes with the pace of change, we stand at a critical crossroads. We believe we need a refreshed approach that combines a systemic mindset with practical experimentation towards your ambitious climate goals.

This 3-hour workshop takes you on a systems change learning exploration, where we'll dive deep into:

πŸŒ€ Embracing the complexity of climate challenges
🎯 Defining system boundaries and setting goals for your unique challenges
🌊 Unravelling the dynamics of change within complex adaptive systems
πŸ” Exploring strategic intervention points for impactful climate action

What do you mean by systems change?

Please read Why Systems Change?

This workshop isn't just about theory - it's also about taking action. You'll walk away with a newfound understanding of systems change and practical tools to apply to your climate initiatives. It is intended as a taster, and we would be open to further engagement with workshop participants who reach out about partnership opportunities.

The session will be interactive with emphasis on discussion and sharing across participants, with the intention to support connections between those working in the climate sector. Get ready to engage, connect and collaborate with fellow climate champions from diverse backgrounds.Β

This taster session is delivered in collaboration between the School of System Change and Edge Effects, with funding support from the Cisco Foundation Climate Initiative.
